A futuristic approach to a ‘future of the past’!

The book encapsulated what it was like waiting each week for the next copy of The Eagle. Having Dan Dare taking on the Mekon in his various space ships was central to the enjoyment of the comic. Coupled with this was the weekly centrefold of technical wizardry. This book cleverly combines both elements to perfection. Reading through the text and looking through the various exploded diagrams took me to nstsntly back to my childhood. So, to say that I was impressed with this publication would be a huge understatement. It’s great. Enough said?

Dan Dare book

I bought this book for my 5y old grandson: I am told he really liked the drawings.
Many years ago I used to get the Eagle comic each week: I had numbers 1 to over 100, but my nice collection was thrown away by a relative when I was abroad. Anyhow, perhaps my grandson will like Dare as I did: this book is a very good start.
