About the author

David Willey is a historian, author and YouTube presenter with a special interest in tanks and armour. As a former Curator of The Tank Museum, Willey was instrumental in the development of a Supporting Collections centre, the modernisation of the Museum’s exhibitions, and leading the project that brought Tiger 131 back to life in 2004. He lives in Dorset.
