The Tank Museum are able to offer a range of "3D Gizmo" printed resin figures.
These come in sets of 5 or 6 and are of extremely high quality.
Figures come as 1 piece with their printing supports still attached.
Not suitable for under 6 years of age.
Great detail, high quality, better than plastic -a bit expensive but in reality good value.
Very nice quality set of British Tankies that arrived well packaged in the post in good time for Christmas. They were a present for a chum who was really pleased with them and ironically gave me a set of the German tankies so I am able to comment on the figures on the basis they were probably similar in quality, etc. First off, removing the figures from the 3D pillars was not as difficult as it looked but special was needed if near a bit of really fine detail like a finger or a headset cable. I did lose the end of a little finger and broke off a bit of binocular strap but was able to fix the latter back in place with a bit of super glue and put the finger loss down to an old war wound that I doubt anyone would ever even notice. I am looking forward to seeing how they p[aint up next as it looks like there might be tiny little marks left from where the printing pillars where removed but they were very tiny. am looking foreward to picking up some more of these next time I am in the museum shop.
Six figures of such detail for what works out at £6.75 each (if you include the postage) or £6.00 each if you get them from the shop in person, is a bargain I think. Highly recomended.
These figures are full of fine detail and in realistically rendered poses.
This is my first 3-D printed set and I am very happy with them. I was apprehensive about removing the printing supports but this actually proved relatively simple.
Excellent product. I look forward to seeing more of the range.
