Mark IV Tank Slippers

These arrived rapidly thanks to the usual Tank Museum efficiency that one takes for granted.
As a novelty item, these are really quite entertaining and out of all the tank-based slippers, the rhomboid shaped Mk.IV is perhaps most suited to the slipper design.
In use, these slippers probably bear some admittedly exceedingly loose similarities to the real thing. They’re bulky, they’re very warm, rapid movement is problematic if not impossible and great care has to be taken in how you manoeuvre in them.
But, am I pleased with my purchase? Oh, most certainly, especially at the reduced price they were offered at. They appear to be well made and are surprisingly comfortable, despite not having a different shape for each foot. Designed instead apparently for more of a ‘uni-foot’ that human evolution hasn’t quite caught up with yet, I’d imagine that this helps contribute somewhat to their very large dimensions.
In the final analysis, although they are undeniably great fun, I do remain grateful that they’re not the only slippers I have!

Bought them as a Christmas present for my dad and he loves them! He currently scoots around the kitchen making tank noises.
