This kit enables you to build a production version of the Tiger 2 tank with pre-cut plastic Zimmerit coating.
The Tiger II was often referred as the King or Royal Tiger. Feared by allied tank crews it was the most powerful tank in service with the German army at the end of the war.
This 1/35 kit allows you to build a Tiger II model with or without its Zimmerit coating. No major clean up, no mess & you attach the coating using your favorite plastic glue. Also comes with torsion bar suspension, part turret interior, 2 PE frets for grills & markings for eight vehicles.
very good service and the model is great
Great way to support the Tank Museum is to buy stuff from the shop! Competitive prices and really good service. This time I saw this King Tiger on YouTube and wanted a model including Zimmerit without having to use putty or anything to make my own. Maybe not a beginners kit, Tamiya is the best for a beginner, but still goes together well as most modern kits do. I blame Covid and lockdown for getting me back into tanks and model making!
A comprehensive kit, I found it difficult with some of the parts being very small, but a great feeling of satisfaction when completed, perhaps this kit is aimed at the more experienced model builder that a novice. The price I thought for the for the detail in the kit was very very reasonable, I would recommend this kit.
This is a brilliant kit with tons of detail, PE parts, and zimmerit sheets. Well worth the price.
I liked building this tank looks the same as the model i built for double the price but it was filled with shells
