Recreate the German Panther Type G Late Version with a Tamiya 1/35 scale model kit.
A constant threat on account of its refined design, the Panther was a feared opponent for enemies of the German Army. In fact, a number of Panther variants were produced and perhaps the most refined was the late version of the Type G, which is recreated by this plastic model assembly kit.
The model breathtakingly recreates the form of the tank, from the well-armored mantlet to the exhaust flame dampers for night combat, and right down to details such as the heater air intake. Of course, typical late production variant additions such as turret-top parts are all there, as are 2 figures in realistic pose, plus 3 marking options recreating Ardennes Front unit Panthers.
I have experience with Tamiya tanks building from downunder. I am looking forward to building in when I retire and go back to Australia. The Panther tank you have in the museum inspired me to buy this model. I wil enjoy the experience of building it.
I've been a big fan of Tamiya models since purchasing my first one in 1974 (Tiger I). Shortly after I bought the Panther A so by comparing these 2 kits (the 1975 version) their is a vast difference in tooling. While I have not gotten to building this kit yet (its on my list) I did do an inspection and some research on after market parts and I was really happy with the product. Great detail and out of the box is a great kit with some challenges that are worth the build. You can't go wrong with any Tamiya Kit
A fantastic piece of kit and offers a lot of customization with what paint job you want and gotta free space for any extra accessories you have. Road wheels and tracks had me stuck for a bit but was easily fixed
Looking forward to building it.
