The Panzer III was in combat continuously from 1939 to 1944 and formed the backbone of Hitler's Panzer divisions. During the Second World War, Panzer III saw action in Poland, France, North Africa and the Eastern Front. The Museum's Panzer III went into action in the North African theatre of war and fell into Allied hands in 1942.
It has been meticulously restored by The Tank Museum and is the centerpiece of this manual. The Haynes Panzer III Manual was written and published in association with The Tank Museum, giving the authors full access to the Museum's Panzer III collection.
This book is Hardback.
AN excellent book, full of information, with accurate descriptions, and photographs.
There are some very strange ones on the market....
An extremely well designed and professional publication
It only took a few days to arrive. The book will be used to help get the details correct on a model that I'm building.
Excellant background history reveals why events happened as they did. Details about the Panzer 111 are very good.
Whenever I want a book on a specific vehicle I always look at the Haynes manual series on sale in The Tank Museums online shop. They are always good value for money with prompt delivery. A great organisation to deal with.
