Look the part in this 1st Pattern US Tankers jacket which has been badged up to look like the jacket worn by Brad Pitt's character Wardaddy in the war film "Fury".
The tankers jacket is the more unusual 1st pattern variation. This jacket is from one of the suppliers of equipment to the Fury film, and has been based on one of the jackets that was actually made for Brad Pitt.
The tankers jacket comes with the insignia sewn on, in the same cross over stitching as on his jacket. The badges are from the same manufacturing run that were supplied to the Fury film. Although these badges where not used "on set", they are the same badges that we supplied them to use in the film.
The tankers jacket also comes with a hand grenade pin on the zip, which extends the zip pull, just like Brad.
Please note the style of this jacket is an exact replica of the WWII styling. The jacket was to be worn with overalls. The jacket is a short fit coming up high on the hips. This is not a fashion fit
The jacket features:
- Heavy cotton outer in correct colour.
- Wool blanket type liner 70% wool 30% polyester.
- Chrome Talon zip with grenade pin on the zip pull.
- Light brown elasticated collar, cuffs and waist band, the colour of the elastic compliments the colour of the jacket and gives a nice vintage look to the jacket.
- Two patch pockets on the front, these are the correct size pockets and they are triple bar stitched on the top corners to try to stop the pockets from ripping out.
- Professionally sewn on badges.
Please note, this is not a jacket that has been worn by Brad Pitt, it is a jacket that looks like the jacket worn by him.

Care Instructions: The jackets have a wool lining. Machine-washable wool. This washing cycle ensures a much reduced mechanical treatment. Reduce the quantity of laundry in the washing machine. The drum should be not more than one-third full. It’s best to use a cycle for wool or delicates for these garments.
Jacket can’t fault it quality excellent and detailed like the one in the movie good job
Definitely warm, but not a winter jacket. More Autumn. In the movie, they're all wearing pullovers underneath, and that's the way to go. Very well made, excellent construction. Pockets are handy for dropping your gloves in, but not ideal for mobile phones, but then that's why you wear cargo pants. Bargain price; I've seen this elsewhere for over £600, and I can't imagine what they've done to make it any better than this one. Maybe sewed some silver dollars in the lining ;-)
I'd like to see more products like this available. Maybe the pullover that Norman wears.
very nice and warm. goes well if you are planning on going into reenactment. have found there was no washing instruction on the label, which is why i gave 4 stars. but worth the money
Lovely jacket looks great
