Great book for those who like walking

This is one of the best books I have read recently. Real passion and enthusiasm for the different walks. Love the writing style.

Spellbinding account of all aspects of walks

Robert MacFarlane multiplies each path walked and described by connecting it to the multiple aspects and impacts it has, and has had on people, places and nature.
His expert knowledge, from studies, personal experience and relationships, combined with honesty and a down to earth approach not often seen from academics, and executed with a beautiful use of English vocabulary will make it neigh on impossible to put it down - at times I had to, to enable me to let the impact of what was said sink in, reflect on it and savour it.
You'll enjoy every minute of reading - and enhance any walks you'll do after reading this.
