It covers briefly the history and technical specifics of all the important tanks from the first British Mk1 tanks that first rolled across the mud and barbed wire strewn battlefields of the Somme in WWI to the M1 Abrams of the more recent middle eastern conflicts. Fourty tanks are covered spanning the entire history of the tank up until 1991 with all the main technical details and the drawings are all very well done indeed. Three pages devoted to each of the tanks in the book as I remember. Whether it fits into your jacket pocket rather depends on the size of your jacket pocket. Approximately 7 and a half inches wide by 5 inches tall and a third of an inch thick. 128 pages. Excellent value! Arrived in perfect condition in and in good time courtesy of Royal Mail.
