By Hilary Louis Doyle & Thomas L. Jentz
Paperback
Panzer Tracts No.22-1: leichter Zugkraftwagen 1t (Sd.Kfz.10) Ausf.A & B documents the development and production of the leichter Zugkraftwagen 1t (Sd.Kfz.10) halftracks.
Hilary Louis Doyle and Thomas L.Jentz spent hundreds of hours travelling the world and accurately measuring surviving examples; they then used a CAD program to draw at full 1:1 scale and printed at 1:35 scale to produce these as-built drawings within the tolerance allowed to the original assembly firms.
The book provides a comprehensive account of the evolution of German military vehicles, starting from the first D ll 1 (Demag Liliput Model 1) of 1935 to the le.Zgkw.1t (Sd.Kfz.10) Ausf.B mit Pritschen-Aufbau built in 1944. It delves into the various variants, with a significant focus on the Flak versions, offering a detailed and thorough understanding of the subject.
Working closely with Hilary Doyle, Panzerwrecks has overhauled this important book with more pages, photographs, and a new chapter on Pak conversions. It is a must-have for accurate information and scale drawings on this workhorse of the German military.
