Description

Republished in conjunction with The Tank Museum.

By Dick Taylor

The book is profusely illustrated with photos, colour profiles, and detail drawings. It describes in detail the official paint schemes, the variations often seen in practice, and the individual and unit markings applied to tanks, armoured cars, trucks and smaller vehicles, and towed guns. The series will prove invaluable for military enthusiasts and modelers, as it makes sense of a very confusing topic!

Great reference

Fantastic series of books that I always regretted missing first time round!

Worth the money upon a subject that has needed to have been recorded for many years.

Another interesting read and thank goodness the pictures are not spread across two pages. Landscape pictures reveal and give ample example of the colour schemes being described. However `colour` is a or the correct colour will be disputed until the end of time as we all see and perceive colour differently. Awaiting volume 4 with great interest.
