Description

Hardback

The Tank Museum Guide to A34 Comet comprehensively covers the history, development, production, and use of what was arguably the best British tank of World War Two.

Powered by the Rolls-Royce Meteor engine, it was fast and reliable – packing a 77mm gun that was more than a match for the Panzers it faced.

Written by military historian Dick Taylor, a Royal Tank Regiment officer for over 20 years, it’s presented in the style of an owner’s workshop manual and features over 300 images.

I'm still reading the book, but the detail within the book really gives the reader a big insight into all the various marks . I would recommend this book

A very good book that covers the design and design and use of this tank. Plus the money spent will go towards the Tank Museum and these upkeep of these vehicles.

Lost chance.

This book is a treasure, as there doesn't seem to many books, telling the story of the A34 Comet as it's brief life was eclipsed by the Centurion tank. Very detailed in every way, technical aspects and service life.

Another excellent book

Yet another excellent book from the tank museum, with a lot of new information and photographs to me at least, only minor faux pas is the photo on page 16 showing the gearbox of a covenanter in the Cromwell section
