Interesting book with great stories of crews and deployments but not really a manual which was a little dissapointing
My son was in Scots Dragoon Gaurds and trialed Challenger 2 in 1994. He had a spell at Lulworth and a few years back I was invited down for a parents weekend and he took me inside one of them and it interested since then. Oh and he also took me to your Tank Museum. That was brilliant.
Interesting insights to the British Army main battle tank & it's use in the various battles it has served in, plenty of photographs in & around the tank & various equipment fits plus a look at the future mk3.
I bought this because both my son's served on these one with RTR and one with Scots DGs, I found it a fantastic read and gave me more of an inside of what they did.
Well up to the standards of the similar volumes in the Haynes range (Centurion, Chieftain, Challenger 1), plenty of diagrams and colour photos. Excellent value at sale price!
