Delivery & Returns

We use the Royal Mail, DHL Express or UPS for our customers. For UK addresses, deliveries under 10kg are a standard £4.95 via Royal Mail Tracked 48 Service. For orders over 10kg and overseas customers, postage is calculated for you at checkout once you have entered your postal address. This price, does not include any potential custom charges that may apply, depending on the product or destination, as every country has very different import duties / taxes. Online exclusive products (such as trainers) will be delivered to you directly from the printer, separate from other items in your order, but your postage fee covers ALL items in your order.

If you are unhappy with your purchase, please email shop@tankmuseum.org within fourteen (14) working days of receiving your goods, and return it to us at the address below, in its original condition, unopened (with any seals and shrink-wrap intact) and we will issue you a full refund or replace it. Goods must be returned at your own cost. If the item is faulty, you do not need to return it, we will send you a replacement free of charge.

Tanks employing US pattern turrets were called the 'Lee' and variants using British pattern turrets were known as 'Grant'.

MiniArt 1/35 Grant Mk. II

Only ever built a Tiger before and this is perhaps a little more detailed.

As a newbie to plastic (Balsa Boy otherwise) I have found it rather more detailed and repetitive in some areas. However, its coming together slowly and probably about half way through now. Have had to study the pictorial instructions somewhat but perhaps that is down to inexperience and my 82 summers. I try to be careful but models are only for my own pleasure not competitive.

Have to say that (for me anyway) the Tamiya Tiger instructions were clearer but that is just me perhaps. Am pressing on and will brush paint when finished as not into the spraying stuff.

As mentioned in another review, nice to buy this discounted from Tank Museum in case of messing it up but so far a happy bunnie and back to the build.

Track can take a long time to make highly detailed model I am only half way through making the kit and sofar I am impressed

Miniart kits are a pleasure and this Grant is no exception

Miniart kits are known for their incredible detail and while this kit doesn't have full on interior and engine details etc it still has fantastic levels of detail including a decent sheet of photo etch for really fine details like straps to hold down the tools. Production quality is great with minimal flash and mould lines as well. With 6 decal options as well you can really customise the model to a particular theatre of operations in WW2. Whilst not a kit for a beginner in you're a relatively experienced modeller then this is a great purchase. Especially considering I got it for £39 on the Tank Museum which is a nice discount.
