Description
By Daniele Guglielmi & Mario Pieri
Daniele Guglielmi and Mario Pieri present the fifth volume of the Italian Campaign series.A thorough and comprehensive study of the ground operations and primary vehicles of the German Army (Heer). Covering the war years from 1943 to 1945, from the Allied invasion of Sicily to the surrender of the Third Reich, the authors describe the vehicles of the German Army in detail, making extensive use of significant and, in some cases, unpublished photographs from various sources. This series features photographs from official German and Allied archives, including the armoured vehicles used by Germany in this theatre.
This book series offers a new perspective for military modellers and historians interested in the German forces of World War II and the decisive campaigns in Italy. This series is invaluable for those researching the use of armoured vehicles during World War II.
This fifth volume in the Italian Campaign collection offers in-depth analyses of Italian and other non-German armoured fighting vehicles, trucks, mobile and stationary anti-aircraft artillery, fortifications, and dug-in tank turrets used by the Germans in Italy. It also includes an entire chapter of conclusions on the Italian Campaign and appendices.
This 247-page professional reference contains 12 colour profiles and over 500 high quality photographs, complemented by captions with carefully researched and detailed information, including maps, vehicle markings, and exact reproductions of original authentic period documents.
