Good build except for a few small pieces missing which was very annoying and the turret base / basket is a mental design idea that just fell apart every time it was almost done or a tiny bit of pressure used to click pieces together !! Had to glue those parts or it would never go together and I came VERY close to just smashing it up and throwing it in the bin !!!!

May first Cobi model, and it convinced me

I built Tiger 131 in 3 half-day sessions with my 7-year old and at the end, I was the one collecting the parts and she as the one assembling. The manual was spot on, however I don't understand a few of the design decisions (like building an engine and the covering it with a hatch, that is in turn held in place by pipes that I am happy stay on AT ALL so I will never open that hatch). But these minor things aside, the model holds together like a brick (which is a good thing) and feels very comfortable to hold, which I can't say from a custom-assemblied LEGO King Tiger that I have tried before this.

So 5 stars all the way!

Nice Collectable

This was my fourth Cobi Tiger. All were pretty easy to put together. As others stated revealing the engine loosened up some part but a little glue fixed the issue and it's still functional. If the 1/12 scale wasn't 658 USD, I get that too. Overall I always look forward to new items at the Tank Store; just wish I could go see it myself.

A nice but bit of a hard build.

I've built several Cobi-models and this was a bit tricky compared to the others. But a fun build. Sadly opening the engine deck to display the engine dislodges a lot of tricky pieces. The "turret basket" made me want to use glue. But it came out alright. The original Tiger 131 was a much easier build - but this looks better. "Knolling" the parts is essential (I think). A lot of look a like parts with confusing colors.

Very Fun Build

This is my first Cobi build. It was fun and easy to assemble. Directions are very clear and the finished model looks fantastic!
