We use the Royal Mail, DHL Express or UPS for our customers. For UK addresses, deliveries under 10kg are a standard £4.95 via Royal Mail Tracked 48 Service. For orders over 10kg and overseas customers, postage is calculated for you at checkout once you have entered your postal address. This price, does not include any potential custom charges that may apply, depending on the product or destination, as every country has very different import duties / taxes. Online exclusive products (such as trainers) will be delivered to you directly from the printer, separate from other items in your order, but your postage fee covers ALL items in your order.

If you are unhappy with your purchase, please email shop@tankmuseum.org within fourteen (14) working days of receiving your goods, and return it to us at the address below, in its original condition, unopened (with any seals and shrink-wrap intact) and we will issue you a full refund or replace it. Goods must be returned at your own cost. If the item is faulty, you do not need to return it, we will send you a replacement free of charge.

In the history of armoured fighting vehicles, there have been few that have been so successful or so extensively employed as the Panhard AML armoured car.

Based on the British Ferret armoured car, the French-built Panhard AML was first used in combat during the war in Algeria in the early 1960s. Thereafter the AML has fought in numerous wars, notably in Africa, up until the present day with ongoing operations against Boko Haram in Nigeria and Chad.

It also fought on the side of the Argentinians during the Falklands War in 1982, and the war on ISIS in 2016. Now with an experienced military author, who was given full and exclusive access to an AML armoured car, this is the latest modern armoured fighting vehicle to receive the Haynes treatment. The Panhard AML and Eland Enthusiasts' Manual is fully illustrated with archive photos, technical drawings and detailed photography.

This book is Hardback.

Received this as a gift.

Really good! Have bought a further five copies and gifted them to my ex-army pals from
1 & 2 SSB ( (1 & 2 Special Service Battalions) of South Africa, who served in Eland's during the "22 Year Forgotten War" in Angola and South West Africa between 1966 and 1988, during which the Eland proved very effective against the Russian tanks and prevented a Communist takeover of Southern Africa. One of the guys is mentioned in the Acknowledgements, as are some of the hard-fought engagements.

An intersting book

This is one for those like myself with an interest in lighter, faster armoured vehicles and gives a potted overview of previous designs and their history. There are many good photographs which are especially valuable as this is a French vehicle and therefore not as well covered in books as those from the UK, the Commonwealth or the USA.

AML 90 book

Cracking book with all the detail I was after and more. Must have for anyone interested in the 90mm gun cars and Eland 60 and 90.
