Insights into the design, construction and operation of Germany's classic Second World War military utility vehicles.
Designed by Ferdinand Porsche and built by Volkswagen, the Kubelwagen and its amphibious cousin the Schwimmwagen were to the Germans what the Jeep was to the Allies and were used widely by the Wehrmacht and the Waffen-SS in the Second World War. In recent years the Kubel and Schwimm have acquired something of a cult status among military vehicle collectors worldwide. Author Chris McNab examines the design, construction and use of these classic German utility vehicles, as well as reviewing today's fertile market for restorations and replicas.
Brilliant amount of drawings and info on these two legendary vehicles...
A boon for us scale modellers !!!
Haynes manuals are always brilliant, this one even more so
Arrived early. Very good price. The Haynes manuals are informative and easy reading. Much better than buying a magazine for nearly the same expense.
Great book from Haynes as usual, plenty of photos, lots of info, more so than some German books on the subject and a dicount from the wonderful tank museum..what more could you want
A really comprehensive account of the development & operational use of these iconic vehicles, highly recommended. As usual, fast efficient service from The Tank Museum Shop, many thanks!
