At last, in association with The Tank Museum, Cobi brings us a Mark V (male) tank. With 837 Cobi pieces this is a detailed 1:35 scale model complete with movable features.

The British Mark V tank was improved in several aspects over the Mark IV, chiefly the new steering system, transmission and 150 bhp engine. Various versions were fitted with a variety of armament including 6-pounder guns and machine guns. It was first deployed in July 1918 on the Western Front

Compatible with other brands of building blocks, this is a stunning gift for all lovers of tanks and military history.  Age 8+

Not suitable for 0-3 year olds. Cobi is a standard building system from the Cobi Group and should not be confused with other building block properties including mini figures.

Great Model.

The Mark V is such an iconic tank and the model really does it justice. Fairly straightforward to build, some pieces inevitably look very similar but if you’re methodical, unlike me, it’s no problem. The finished model looks amazing, you’re hard pressed to tell it’s a brick model at first. I was impressed with how well the tracks fit together and how well it rolls. I’ve not seen the Mk 1 model, apparently this is smaller but it’s a good sized model and really captures the tank’s look. Enjoyed building it, looks great next to the Rolls Royce armoured car!

Awesome reproduction in brick! I posted a YouTube review.

I have never been to the Tank Museum. I’d have to cross eight time zones to get to it. It is on my bucket list, however, and meanwhile I love the museum’s YouTube channel.

While it may seem odd to order stuff from so far away, I have made several orders from the museum gift shop as a way to support the museum from afar.

The Cobi bricks Mk V is a very good kit. It rolls much more smoothly than the earlier Mk I. The only thing I didn’t like was that it is of a smaller scale than the Mk I so a good side by side comparison is not as possible. I loved this kit so much that I wanted to give more than four stars. If I had the option I would give it four and a half stars because of the size.

I do a more detailed review/look here: https://youtu.be/UMRlg9J2vbM

Cheers from Vancouver Island.

I love these tanks!!

The Great War collection is the best. Even though it is a tad smaller than the scale of the mk.1 and A7V, it has a lot of smaller details that make it unique. Product was delivered to the USA in a very timely manner as well. I hope that the Great War collection continues to release these gems. (Char2c!)

Great addon to the Great War collection.

As noted in previous reviews, it's quite a bit smaller compared to their Mk.1 tank and I think it's lost a few details compared to the Mk.1 but they did improve the traction for the tracks which is great. That being said, the tank itself has it's own small details which gives it it's own uniqueness that you won't find on the Mk.1. Don't let it's smaller size dissuade you from adding this tank to your lineup.
